Lush and Lavish: Blooms in Art

June 18, 2022 - August 28, 2022

Flowers have long been favorite subjects for artists because of their temperance and beauty. This exhibition features works from the Permanent Collection that celebrate flora in art, most notably selections from the museum’s collection of Roseville Pottery and a new acquisition by Indiana Impressionist painter John W. Hardrick.

This exhibition is curated by Associate Curator of Special Collections & Archives Lauren Wolfer and Collections Information Specialist Suzanne Slick. Support for this exhibition is provided by the Edward D. and Ione Auer Foundation.
