December 06, 2025 - February 15, 2026

Cartoons and comics in book and strip form are an integral part of childhood and for many continue to fascinate as adults. Artists look at this popular art form for inspiration, embracing its eye-catching style, color, composition, and storytelling methods. This exhibition features works by Enrique Chagoya, Crash, Roy Lichtenstein, Richard Mock, Diego Romero, Cara Romero, and Roger Shimomura, among others.

This exhibition is curated by Sachi Yanari-Rizzo, Research Curator, and is supported by the Edward D. and Ione Auer Foundation.
