Jordan Latham

Designer #4: Jordan Latham: Jola Ariel

Jola Ariel’s collection merges the minimalist structure with maximalist, urban spirit—graceful but bold. A runway that feels like a revival.

Look 1: “Salt & Light” modeled by Myeka Brown

Rooted in scripture, this look is a walking testament—a reminder to influence without overpowering, to preserve truth and radiate presence. The upcycled denim jacket, pieced together from worn jeans, is more than a fashion statement—it’s a resurrection story in itself. On the back, boldly stitched, “Salt & Light” speaks to the garment’s mission: to bring flavor and clarity to a world that often dilutes both.

Beneath, a recycled knit tank softens the message with quiet grace—pearl button detailing trails down the center like a lineage, evoking heirloom elegance and an old-money restraint. It nods to legacy, stewardship, and the kind of refinement that doesn’t have to speak loudly to be noticed.

Anchoring the look, black wide-leg shorts cut a sharp silhouette. Down each side, raw-edged denim panels disrupt the polish with intentional grit—a visual echo of street hustle, lived experience, and unapologetic boldness. The contrast is the point: this is where sacred meets street, where gospel meets grind.

“Salt and Light” is not just a look—it’s a call. A reminder to show up with substance, with story, and with style that reflects the divine and the day-to-day, both equally sacred.
This look is available for purchase.

LOOK 2: “Blue Sunday” modeled by Kelley Marvin

Soft like morning, bold like resurrection.

The satin slip skirt moves in gentle waves—beige, kissed with baby blue polka dots, like raindrops tapping on a dusty windowpane. Blue hums quietly through the look, from the faded denim top that ties at the front to the sky-tinted spots that scatter the skirt like whispered prayers.

Red tulle ruffles bloom along the pockets—small rebellions stitched at her sides, a flash of heart in a sea of sky.

The denim is sun-worn, softened by years, carrying the same weight as a gospel song—steady, sorrowful, and somehow still full of hope. Her bare shoulders speak of freedom; her hem brushes her ankles like a hymn sung under breath.

This is Sunday not just in name, but in feeling: slow, sacred, full of light.

She steps out in denim heels and daydreams, carrying the weight of history through cracked sidewalks and open doors—where sanctuary leans into streetlight and the blues become her prayer.

This look is available for purchase.

LOOK 3: “Threads of Eden” modeled by Amirah Tinsley

She enters like a memory passed through generations—stitched not just in thread, but in testimony.

The dark green crop top holds its form like quiet conviction. Across her shoulders, bold red braids stretch from front to back—thick, deliberate, like threads pulled from the hem of her lineage.

It’s not just design—it’s declaration. A cord of strength. A symbol of bloodlines. A warrior’s mark disguised as art.

Below, the green satin slip skirt moves like living history—lush and fluid, gleaming with every step like a promise kept. It clings and releases with each stride, its softness belying the strength stitched into its folds.

The skirt whispers of renewal, but the sway of it carries weight.

History lives in its hem.

This is not just fashion—it’s inheritance.

Worn with reverence. Walked with fire.

This look is available for purchase.

LOOK 4:   “Holy Grit” modeled by Cami Yoder

She moves like scripture written on the streets—steady, unshaken, sanctified by struggle.

The cream wide-leg shorts stand strong and effortless, like pillars carved from prayer and perseverance. They move when she moves—soft but unbreakable, a quiet architecture of faith.

Above, a black button-up crop top cuts through the noise, structured but alive.

At each shoulder, a rough-edged denim ruffle crowns her like a battle-worn banner—faded blue stitched with the memory of hands that built and broke and built again.

Each step strikes the pavement with purpose—grounded, graceful, unafraid. Whether boot, heel, or bare sole, she walks like she knows the street remembers her.

She doesn’t just wear the street—she blesses it with every footfall.

This is holy ground made visible.

This is grit baptized in grace.

This looks is available for purchase.

LOOK 5: “Color from Ashes” modeled by Rachel Jones

She moves like something that survived the fire.

Her pants speak first—black and beige color block, grounded and bold. But it’s the beige quarter that burns brightest, layered with soft, stacked circles of green, red, and dusty blue tulle.

Like the earth, the blood, and the sky—each hue rising in silent testimony.

A resurrection in texture. A dance born from dust.

Above, her back is bare—a dark denim tank, rough with memory, softened by grace. Two beige bows tie it closed: one at the neck, one at the waist.

They fall like hands mid-prayer—clasped not in fear, but in reverence.

Not to cover, but to honor what’s been walked through.

She wears contrast like scripture. She moves with the weight of what’s unseen.

And everywhere she goes,

color follows the ashes.

Because she is not just the one who made it out—

She is the sign that glory lives in the rubble.

She is the final word.

The after.

The Amen.

This look is available for purchase.
