2nd Thursday at FWMoA: Mimesis with Andrea Spencer

A special evening with exhibiting artist, Andrea Spencer! Participate in a one-of-a-kind evening with exhibition tours led by the artist herself as she explains the elegant beauty behind her work. Andrea Spencer, featured in her first U.S. museum exhibition, emphasizes the intricacies and transient nature of marine plants and algae through lifelike depictions in flameworked glass. Together with artists from the collection, Spencer investigates the boundaries between humankind and nature, bringing glass to life before our eyes.
Artist talks will take place at 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
