2nd Thursday at FWMoA: An Evening with Ezra Tucker

Join us for a special evening with exhibiting artist Ezra Tucker as he shares with us his fascinating career as both a commercial illustrator and as a full-time fine artist for the last 30 years. He has produced award-winning images for American companies and Hollywood studios, including paintings of Clydesdale horses for Budweiser, illustrations for a novel for the Star Wars franchise, and the image for the poster of Paramount Pictures’ re-release of The Ten Commandments. He now focuses on wildlife and depicting the Black experience in the historic American West. Tucker’s artistic skill is augmented by deep scientific and historical knowledge of his subjects. Favoring dynamic compositions at large scales, Tucker seeks to make his subjects come alive as well as inspire others to protect the endangered species of our planet.
