Abstract Expressionism was the turning point in art, in which the U.S., specifically New York City became the new international art center. Surrealism was among the formative influences leading up to its development.

Included in the exhibition will be works by Dorothy Dehner, David Smith, Adolph Gottlieb, Herbert Ferber, Letterio Calapai, and Theodore Roszak, among others that speak to this pivotal moment.

Please note: This event will be online only on our YouTube page. Tune in live at 12:15pm  or watch any time after that. If you would like to attend an in-person talk, visit during the May 2nd Thursday event!
