Ancient Methods, Modern Visions: Sand Cast Glass from the Collection

Sand Casting is an ancient sculpting technique that has been adapted in the 21^st century by glass sculptors around the world. Using molds formed by sand, molten glass is poured into each mold to yield textured, translucent sculptures that bridge the divide between ancient ways of making and modern artistic visions. Artists will include Marlene Rose, Bertil Vallien, and Carl Beling.
