Join us for a celebration of black history through visual art. Enjoy a special screening of Black Art: In the Absence of Light, directed by Sam Pollard. The film highlights many of the artists in our Movement: Black Art in Focus exhibition which explores work by Black artists from the 20th and 21st centuries through the many definitions of movement. Featured artists include Jacob Lawrence, Faith Ringgold, and Ernest Withers.

Free admission, light appetizers, and cash bar! The film begins at 5:30pm.
