Watercolor artist John C. Kelty strives to create an atmosphere through the inclusion of human elements and the use of a personal calligraphy of brushstrokes. The result is a visual narrative that captures a moment in time.
Kelty, a New Haven, IN native, attended the university of Saint Francis and graduated with a degree in Commercial Art. He worked in the printing industry for the next twenty years. He works exclusively in watercolor and exhibits locally at many shows. He is a member of the Watercolor Society of Indiana, the American Watercolor Society, the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association an is active in the Fort Wayne Artists Guild.
Kelty will be demonstrating his watercolor techniques during this 2nd Thursday so arrive early to watch the whole process!
