Since 2012, Welcoming Week has served as the annual campaign and celebration led by Welcoming America to showcase the growing movement of communities striving to be more welcoming places for all, including immigrants. By fostering mutual respect and cooperation between new and long-time residents, Welcoming Week brings together people across lines of difference toward greater prosperity for all.

This year, Welcoming Week takes place September 10-17. Through events — virtual or in-person — across the U.S. and around the world, local communities celebrate diversity and inclusion by bringing people together and furthering a welcoming spirit.

In celebration of Welcoming Week, we invite you to join us at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art for bilingual tours in Spanish and Burmese. Guests will experience an up close and personal discussion of our current exhibitions, and the tour will last approximately one hour. The tour is free but please RSVP to Language Services Network at 260.426.6764.
