Special Guest Angelica Sweeting as seen on ABC’s Shark Tank
November 10, 2017–On November 18 the Fort Wayne Museum of Art and local organization Green Hair Revolution will host the annual event “The Art of Hair,” an event that celebrates natural hair, body, and spirit. This marks the fifth year of the collaboration between the Fort Wayne Museum of Art and Green Hair Revolution. This year’s event will feature workshops, demonstrations, health & beauty information, DJ Trend, a hair show, and special guest Angelica Sweeting, Founder of Naturally Perfect Dolls and a 2017 Shark Tank success story. The first 100 ticket holders also will receive a 2017 Art of Hair Tote filled with goodies and the Art of Hair 2017 commemorative button.
October 13, 2017 (Fort Wayne, IN) — The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is proud to present two exhibitions celebrating Latino heritage and contemporary art and culture with its annual Day of the Dead community altar exhibit, and new for 2017, Day of the Dead artwork from the collection of Dr. Gilberto Cardeñas. The altar exhibit will be on display October 21-November 12 and the Cardeñas collection opened October 7 and will remain on view through December 3.

October 30, 2017 (Fort Wayne, IN) – The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is proud to announce it is joining a group membership program designed to give participants year-round access to 4 Fort Wayne museums, including FWMoA, the History Center, Science Central, and the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory. This program replaces the Museum Dreams Membership and has been rebranded as the Museum Access Pass (MAP).
Murals add even more visual art to the FWMoA experience
