Wine by the Glass – Route 66

An after-hours evening of art and wine with FWMoA’s glass collection! Join local wine expert Jeff Armstrong from WineTime and FWMoA’s President and CEO, Charles Shepard, for a region-specific wine tasting paired with a presentation of studio glass of the same origin. Enjoy curated wine selections, small bites, and a lively discussion of the art and culture of each region.

In celebration of the exhibition Hot off the Grill! Glass Works by John Miller, we will feature wines and artwork from the regions around Route 66. In honor of the 100th anniversary of Route 66, Miller’s glass sculptures transform two galleries into a world of American diners and roadside garages through bold colors and larger-than-life Pop Art. Guests can step into the bygone days of the American 1950s and ’60s in this immersive roadside experience exhibit that serves up a visual feast of Miller’s signature style of oversized hamburgers, french fries, automotive accessories, and more.
