July 17, 2024 (Fort Wayne, IN) – The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is accepting proposals from artists, families, and community groups around the region to honor a lost loved one or another important figure in an altar at the annual Día de Muertos Exhibition and Celebration. Interested participants are encouraged to submit a proposal of an ofrenda altar or offering honoring the life and memory of lost loved ones as part of a celebration of the traditions of Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead).

 July 9, 2024 (Fort Wayne, IN) – The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is privileged to present “From Their Indiana Home: Artists of the Hoosier Salon from the Permanent Collection,” an exhibition of Hoosier Salon artists on view July 13, 2024 through October 06, 2024 in honor of the Salon’s Centennial.

Regional students awarded in the 101st annual class of Scholastic Art & Writing Awards National Medal Ceremony

June 20, 2024 (Fort Wayne, IN) – The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is thrilled to announce 22 Northeast Indiana/Northwest Ohio students have won national recognition for 30 pieces of their art and writing in the 2024 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. After competing at the regional level, these remarkable students were awarded Gold or Silver Medals by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, a national organization.

May 1, 2024 (Fort Wayne, IN) – The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is pleased to announce FWMoA Chalk Walk 2024 presented by Partner’s 1st Federal Credit Union from July 13-14 during the Three Rivers Festival. The Fort Wayne Museum of Art Chalk Walk has been a trademark event held on Main Street in downtown Fort Wayne since 2000.

April 11, 2024 (Fort Wayne, IN) – The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is pleased to present The Paintings of Gabriela Gonzalez Dellosso: A Retrospective from April 20 through July 14, 2024 in the Museum’s galleries at 311 E. Main Street. Dellosso, a fine artist who specializes in narrative realism, will present an artist lecture on her exhibition on Friday April 19, 2024 at 6pm as part of the Museum’s Mastrangelo Lecture Series.
